Pursuant to article 7 of Legislative Decree 249/2012, Acquirente Unico Spa (AU) was given the activities and tasks of the Italian Central Stockholding Entity (OCSIT).
AU is a company 100% controlled by the Gestore dei Servizi Enegetici Spa (GSE), the holding company of the GSE group. In its turn, GSE is 100% controlled by the Ministry of Finance (MEF).
OCSIT is structured as an operative unit of AU and, by express provision of the law, is subject to separate accounting.
As a result, OCSIT’s economic and financial balance sheet items are accounted autonomously and separately form the other functions assigned to AU.
